Which audio files work?
MP3, WAV, M4A and most common formats your phone or recorder produces. If it plays in a browser, it will almost certainly transcribe.
Can it tell speakers apart?
Not yet. You get one continuous transcript rather than labelled speakers, so a two-person interview reads as a single run of text.
Is it free?
Yes. You can edit and download a video in your browser for free. There is a daily limit, and free exports carry a small BeforeNow watermark. The app removes the watermark.
Do I need an account?
No account and no app install. You enter an email address so we can send you the finished video and keep the free limits fair, then you can start uploading.
What can I upload?
MP4 and MOV video, JPG and PNG images, up to 10 clips per video. Everything runs from the browser, so you can use the footage already on your phone or laptop.
