Does this add the captions to my video?
No. This tool gives you the subtitle files, .srt and .vtt, to upload alongside your video. Captions burned into the picture, the word-by-word kind that show up even on mute, are built by the Reel tools and the app as part of the edit.
Where do I use an .srt file?
Anywhere that accepts one. YouTube has a subtitles box in its upload flow, and most players and editors will import a file. Where a platform will not take one, you need the words in the picture instead, which is what the Reel tools build.
Is it free?
Yes. You can edit and download a video in your browser for free. There is a daily limit, and free exports carry a small BeforeNow watermark. The app removes the watermark.
Do I need an account?
No account and no app install. You enter an email address so we can send you the finished video and keep the free limits fair, then you can start uploading.
What can I upload?
MP4 and MOV video, JPG and PNG images, up to 10 clips per video. Everything runs from the browser, so you can use the footage already on your phone or laptop.
